The wastewater from the wash bay will contain different contaminants depending on the type of equipment that is being washed and where the equipment is being used.

KKE provides a basic skid in water recycling system and tire wash system. In this skid water is allowed to settle down, here sludge and small particles settles down on bottom of tank due to simple principle of gravity. In this way sludge skimmers removes the sludge.

Oil floating on the water surface is removed with help of oil skimmer. Oil skimmer used in KKE Wash Systems is a belt type oil skimmer, where belt picks up the oil floating on the surface of water and is scraped off using a scrapper which removes the oil in a reservoir.

Within a particular time period sludge and oil should be removed regularly for better performance.
